John & Rosalie Bechen's Christmas Display
This is the first year the Bechens have put up this extensive of a Christmas display. This year is different since
their grand kids have moved to Sioux Falls from Denver; resulting in a lot more Christmas cheer!
The computer controlled display consists of over 8,000 lights and features several songs that have been
programmed and synced to music which is broadcast over 89.5 FM, so that viewers can listen to the music
during the show.
John & Rosalie started planning this display in late October. In late November (after Thanksgiving) John,
Ronald Manuelito, Jr., Dean Renville, and Michael Wakemen, spent approximately four days setting up the
decorations and hooking up the hardware to sequence the lights. Without their help this display would not
have been possible.
We would also like to thank everyone at J&K Building Supply in Flandreau. We purchased the majority of our
lighting and decorations from them. They were always friendly and helpful in helping meet our decorating
needs.
We hope that you enjoy the display and encourage you to donate to the Flandreau Bread Basket!
Thank You,
John & Rosalie
As of December 1st
the show features the following songs & artist/CD:
